Dr Jayne Lysk

I am an experienced educator, curriculum designer, and academic with over three decades of teaching experience across diverse educational settings, from kindergarten to postgraduate levels, both in Australia and internationally. With a unique educational trajectory as an immigrant, mature-age student, and overseas scholar- I bring a deeply empathetic and inclusive perspective to teaching and learning and working with others. I hold a Graduate Diploma Education (Humanities, Chinese & TESOL), a Master of Arts in Asian and Pacific Studies, and a Doctor of Education. Most of my career has been dedicated to the scholarship of teaching and learning in higher education.

I have taught and supported a broad spectrum of learners, including newly arrived migrants, international students, adult learners, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. My work spans educational leadership, project management, learning design, development, and delivery of award-winning curricula, educational interventions, and work-integrated learning initiatives. I am committed to equity, inclusive, innovative, and research-informed pedagogies, and have led and contributed to faculty and professional development programs that enhance learner outcomes and both industry and institutional engagement.
